- 13.4% of Indian working women have a regular salaried job compared to 21.2% of working men (aged 15–59).
- In rural areas, female labour force participation among women aged 15 years and above has fallen from 49% in 2005 to 36% in 2012. More than half of the decline is due to the scarcity of suitable jobs at the local level.
To encourage women towards economic independence through employment, Chakachak aims to empower women by providing an extra rate of 10 paisa for each cloth ironed.
Proper training will be provided to women who are interested to take up the laundry & ironing task and they can collect orders at their convenience. No industry experience, education or skills are required to work with us.
